Parodies generally tend to riff on and comment upon the films and genres they’re sending up, while this effort simply uses them as a loose framework on which to hang a rapid-fire barrage of manic, heavily improvised setpieces. After exorcising the demons of his ex-, Malcolm starts afresh with his new girlfriend and her two children. After moving into their dream home, Malcolm is once again plagued by bizarre paranormal events. MovieMeter aims to be the largest, most complete movie archive with reviews and rankings, in the World. It’s not that the Marlon Wayans horror spoof “A Haunted House 2” isn’t stupid. It’s certainly likely to be among the worst movies in wide release this year, but it’s far from the most hateable, and that should count for something. A Haunted House 2 is a 2014 American satirical horror comedy film directed by Michael Tiddes and starring Marlon Wayans.
Alien: The Series
Jaime Pressly joins the ensemble cast of this hilarious sequel. Ed Helms stars as Rusty Griswold, who takes his family on their first road trip vacation to Walley World in New Line Cimena's Vacation. Sloppy, vulgar, and manic, A Haunted House 2 might be worth a chuckle or two, but mostly it's a string of pop culture references and crude gags that fail to hit their intended targets.

He finds the crazy priest in a church, shanking another priest for absurd reasons. When Malcolm asks for his help, Doug only makes weird comments about the Kardashians coming after him and other men. Malcolm leaves when he thinks he sees demons surrounding a church, but they're really just church women who make comments about Malcolm being with a white woman. Miguel comes over and offers a chicken to be used as a blood sacrifice, but the chicken becomes hysterical and fights back. Malcolm ends up wrestling the chicken all across the kitchen, ending with him throwing the chicken up into the ceiling fan where it is decapitated.

After Donovan snickers behind the camera of one of Edmund’s auditions, Gaines starts to develop a deep hatred for the man. While he and his former wife grew apart, he’s still close with his son, with Kel’s drumming being a key point of connection between the two. Bobb has a handful of notable roles in his career, including parts in The Outsider, Russian Doll, The Continental, and more. Luke James plays Edmund Gaines, an aspiring but failing, actor who works as a children’s mascot at a local arcade (think of Chuck E. Cheese or Five Nights at Freddy’s). While he might seem like a shy, sensitive person, Edmund is a deeply disturbed soul trying to fill a hole within himself that can never be filled.
Malcolm dramatically cries all the way to when they bury the dog. Malcolm Johnson and his cousin Ray-Ray are driving Malcolm's possessed girlfriend Kisha to the hospital after he beat her senseless for trying to attack him. Kisha starts making a fuss and fights Malcolm, then breathes into Ray's face. Somehow, everybody is okay, but Malcolm and Ray leave an unconscious Kisha in the backseat and run away. But Nikki Haley, Mr. Trump’s former rival in the Republican primaries, still took more than 155,000 votes across the state. That exceeds the margin of 81,660 votes by which Mr. Biden won the state in the 2020 election.
Where to Watch
Malcolm carries his camera around to record everything he sees. He meets the neighbor, Miguel, who jumps at every chance he gets to call Malcolm racist whenever he comments on something related to a Mexican stereotype, though all of it is in jest. Malcolm records himself having sex with Megan and notices the Abigail doll turning its head. He also finds old videotapes with a demonic being in it trying to kill a family of three, but it fails every time. With the 2024 primary season entering the homestretch — and the presidential matchup already set — hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians cast their ballots on Tuesday in Senate and House contests as well as for president and local races. Movie Reviews
Marlon Wayans, Essence Atkins, Affion Crockett and Dave Sheridan reprise their roles from the original spoof comedy in this sequel. Additionally, Becky finds an old box and develops an attachment to it, and Wyatt continues to hang out with his imaginary friend. Malcolm seeks help from a paranormal psychologist named Professor Wilde. He deduces that Malcolm must have had a previous encounter with a demonic force.
The film is the sequel to the 2013 film A Haunted House and the final installment in the duology. Produced by IM Global Octane and distributed by Open Road Films, the film was released on March 28, 2014.[3] Like its predecessor, the film received negative reviews from critics, and earned over $25 million at the box office. As a last resort, Malcolm goes to find Ned and Noreen Swanson, a sort of racist and sexually frustrated paranormal investigative husband and wife duo. He brings them to his house, where they determine that the demonic presence has attracted the family to it, explaining Becky's need for the box, Wyatt's imaginary friend, and Malcolm's sexual attraction to Abigail. They take hits from a bong mask and go downstairs to find Becky fully possessed.
She is also one of the only women of color in a department filled with racism. Check out when to expect the latest Marvel, Star Wars, and Star Trek releases, what’s next for the DC Universe on film and TV, and everything you need to know about the future of Doctor Who. Finally, the cast of House of the Dragon discuss season two in a new featurette. Isaac gets married in the synopsis for “Isaac’s Wedding,” the third season finale of Ghosts.
Joaquin Diaz, played by Carlito Olivero, is a rookie detective who hopes to impress Dawn with his work. While he does not start on the murder case with Dawn, she eventually brings him on as her partner. Joshua J. Williams plays Dawn’s son, Kelvin ‘Kel’ Reeves.
Deadline also reports Matilda Firth (Disenchanted) has joined the cast of Leigh Whannell’s upcoming remake of The Wolf Man at Universal. Theoretically staged as a found-footage exercise, though frequently opting for standard shots with no appreciable increase in quality, the film traces Malcolm’s growing realization that his new house is, indeed, haunted. Marlon Wayans will return to star and co-write this horror spoof follow-up, with production slated to begin this summer. Marlon Wayans doesn't take kindly to a visit from the Easter Bunny in this spoof comedy, in theaters this holiday weekend. Rotten Tomatoes has calculated the 14 worst movies according to critics and moviegoers as released over the past twelve months. Marlon Wayans' Christian Black offers some New Year's Resolutions along with new footage from the spoof comedy Fifty Shades of Black.
Malcolm calls upon Doug to come by, but he has a mental breakdown along with the ghost possessing him and ends up shooting himself in the head. After some reluctance, he gets the demon to transfer itself to himself by having Becky regurgitate red goo. Everybody runs upstairs to find Malcolm possessed (who then gets beat up). The Swansons take the possessed items, including Abigail so Ned can have sex with her. Everything seems okay until the next night when Malcolm and Megan are watching TV and Kisha shows up behind them. She twists Megan's neck around, killing her and sending Malcolm running away.
I'll easily watch anything with Jaime Lee Pressly in it, but Marlon Wayans is kind of the big treat in this. One of the reasons I liked the first movie is that they got back to the spirit of the original "Scary Movie" franchise before they took it from the Wayans. Series co-creator Ryan Condal, a co-showrunner on season 1 with Miguel Sapochnik, is now the sole showrunner on season 2. Co-creator George R.R. Martin also executive produces House of the Dragon with Condal, Sara Hess, Alan Taylor, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Loni Peristere, and Vince Gerardis. Without getting into spoilers, the presence of Simon Strong and Alys Rivers, in particular, point to a sequence of events from the source material that unfolds at Harrenhal. There's a reason Prince Daemon (Matt Smith) made mention of Harrenhal when poring over the painted table at Queen Rhaenyra's (Emma D'Arcy) war council in the season 1 finale.
